- Start Internet Explorer and from the tools menu select Internet Options.
- Go to the Connection tab.
If you connect to the Internet through a dial-up connection, select
the name of your dial-up connection in the box on the Connections
tab and click on Settings.
If you are connected via LAN or some cable or DSL modem that is not
listed in the dial-up connection select LAN Settings.
- Check use a proxy server.
- Uncheck automatically detect proxy settings and use a automatic configuration script.
- Click the Advanced button. In the HTTP field.
- Enter 127.0.0.1 as the "proxy address to use" and 4002 as the port.
- Uncheck the Use the same Proxy Server for all protocols option.
- Click OK to return to the "Configuration" tab.
- Click OK to return to your browser.

- Start Netscape and from the Edit menu select Preferences.
- On the left side you see a tree view of the options.
- click on the + next to Advanced and select Proxies.
- On the right side choose to manually enter your proxy settings.
- Write down your current Proxy settings if there are any.
- In the HTTP line enter localhost as address and 4002 as port.
- Click OK several times to return to your browser window.

- Start Opera and from the File menu select Preferences.
- On the left side you see a tree view of the options.
- click on Network.
- On the right side click on Proxy Servers.
- Write down your current Proxy settings if there are any.
- In the HTTP line enter localhost as address and 4002 as port.
- Check the box in front of the HTTP line.
- click OK several times to return to your browser window.
